বিধবার সঙ্গে বৃদ্ধের পরকীয়া, ধরা খেল বিছানায়

বাংলাদেশের টাঙ্গাইলে ৫৫ বছর বয়সী এক বিধবার সঙ্গে ৬৫ বছরের এক বৃদ্ধকে আপত্তিকর অবস্থায় আটক করে বিয়ে করিয়ে দিয়েছে এলাকাবাসী।  গতকাল শুক্রবার রাতে উপজেলার একটি ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ হলরুমে ঘটনাটি ঘটে।

স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, চার সন্তানের জনক ওই বৃদ্ধের সঙ্গে একই এলাকার তিন সন্তানের জননী বিধবার পরকীয়ার সম্পর্ক রয়েছে।  বেকড়া আটগ্রাম ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান মো. শওকত হোসেন বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন।

তিনি জানান, বেকড়া পূর্বপাড়া গ্রামের মো. বক্কর আলীর সঙ্গে একই গ্রামের ওই বিধবার ছয়-সাত মাস ধরে পরকীয়া চলে আসছিল।

শুক্রবার বিকেলে তারা দুয়াজানী গ্রামের দত্তর কাঠ বাগানে আসেন।  সেখানে আপত্তিকর অবস্থায় স্থানীয়রা তাদের আটক করে।  পরে রাতে ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ হলরুমে সালিশ-বৈঠক হয়।

সালিশে উভয়ের সম্মতিতে ৫ লাখ টাকা দেনমোহর ধরে দুজনকে বিয়ে দেয়া হয় বলে জানান ওই ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান।



A 55-year-old widow in Tangail, Bangladesh, was arrested in an abusive manner by the 65-year-old elderly people. The incident occurred on Friday night in a union parishad .

He told that the people of Bakra Eastpara village. With the help of Bakkar Ali, the widow of the same village was visiting Arakya for six-seven months.
On Friday afternoon, they came to Dattaram wood garden of Duajjani village. Locals detained them there due to objectionable conditions. Later, there was a meeting of the arbitrators in the Union Parishad Hall Room.
According to the agreement, both of them got married for Tk 5 lakh in denomination.
